The Sarova Stanley in conjunction with the Nairobi Stock Exchange and Rich Management International Ltd. (Authorized NSE Data Vendor) recently launched live trading in stocks at The Sarova Stanley's Exchange Bar. The Exchange Bar shares a deep history with the Nairobi bourse as it is the place where the Nairobi Stock Exchange was launched in 1954 and operated until its current venue was opened in 1991. The Exchange bar maintains early 19th Century decor with views of the city. It has become the preferred networking venue for many distinguished business clientele who now can trade in stocks while having their favourite drink and meal in an ambiance that is simply unbeatable.

Sarova Hotels Golf day goes down to a tee
Dark clouds loomed on the morning of the 16th of October causing quite a panic for members of the organising committee of the Sarova Hotels Golf Day. As it approached 12pm the heavens heard the silent prayers which gave way to a perfect day for an afternoon of golf. Invited participants enjoyed every second of golfing at one of Nairobi's renowned golf courses. The prize giving cocktail that followed will surely be the talk of town for a while to come. Congratulations goes out to Pratik Sanghrajka who was the overall winner of the tournament and Hellen Gitau who took home the stunning trophy awarded for overall ladies winner.

Christmas Cake Splendour at Sarova Panafric
Sarova Panafric, in spectacular fashion, recently held their mixing of the Christmas cake mince ceremony. In attendance were staff from Sarova Hotels who mixed the various ingredients including dried fruit, rum, honey and assorted nuts. The mixture will be kept for approximately 6 weeks before baking in order to attain the rich fruity taste that is associated with Sarova Hotels signature Christmas cakes. Cerebral Palsy fun day at Thorn Tree Ranch, Kikambala
Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa and Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge recently hosted an elaborate Pasta Station coupled with gift items for the raffle in support of the Cerebral Palsy Fun Day. The initiative was geared toward raising funds to support the Cerebral Palsy Foundation in taking care of the affected children.

 


Sarova Taita Hills Game Lodge in Support of World Tourism Day 2009
World tourism day was marked with great cheer as Mombasa saw the arrival of 300 guests who were aboard the Neos Charter flight. Sarova Taita Hills Game Lodge celebrated the day by offering refreshing drinks as well as displaying artefacts for guests on arrival. Information was available which aimed at sensitising the various groups about the rich coastal culture and heritage.
