Sarova Hotel, Resort and Game Lodge ranked amongst East Africa's top brands
Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa, Sarova Shaba Game Lodge and The Sarova Stanely were recognized as being part of East Africa’s top 361 brands as nominated by a panel of experts and voted for by the public in a survey done by Superbrands East Africa. The entire selection process of the brands was independently administered by the Center for Brand Analysis and involved 4 key stages of a selection process that included compiling a comprehensive database of East Africa’s leading brands, giving scores to chosen brands, and involvement of consumers in voting for the representative brands. Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort and Spa was ranked the top brand in the leisure resorts category.

Sarova Zawadi welcomes 1000th member
Sarova Hotels loyalty program Sarova Zawadi recently welcomed it's 1000th member in grand style. Mr. Nicholas M. Runyenje was pleasantly surprised when he was informed that he was the 1000th member to join the club and that he had won a special gift hamper. Sarova Zawadi is a two-tier program: Zawadi Red and Zawadi Platinum. Zawadi Red is the entry level to Sarova's world of rewards. Membership is at an annual fee of Kshs.6, 000. Rewards and privileges include the opportunity to earn and burn points, priority wait list, priority check in and check out, special offers, complimentary holidays and so much more.


Edwin Moses visits Sarova Panafric
Edwin Moses, the renowned track and field athlete who won gold medals in the 400-meter hurdles at the 1976 and 1984 Olympics, recently checked into Sarova Panafric for a short visit before leaving for Ghana. Between 1977 and 1987, Moses won 107 consecutive finals (122 consecutive races) and set the world record in his event four times. In addition to his running, Moses was also an innovative reformer in the areas of Olympic eligibility and drug testing. In 2000, he was elected the first Chairman of the Laureus World Sports Academy, an international service organization of world class athletes. Edwin Moses continues to carry out philanthropic work worldwide. Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa extends a helping hand
Management at Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa extended a helping hand to those less fortunate donating food items to the Kenya Muslim Yatima Foundation which is a model institution that supports orphaned children. The mission and vision of the foundation is not only to care for the children but to give them guidance and allow them to acquire sound discipline and character in them that is in accordance with the doctrines of Islam. The foundation provides opportunities for the children to have a bright and secure future. The initiative was carried out at the beginning of Ramadhan, a key Islamic religious observance that takes place during the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Sarova Hotels would like to wish all members of the Islamic community a blessed Ramadhan.
