THEME NIGHTS

Sarova Panafric: Home to Authentic Cultural Theme Nights

When it comes to catchy ideas and bright innovations, Sarova Panafric Hotel is arguably the market leader. A prove? The now all the rage concept of bringing "village to the city" and popularly know as Cultural Theme Nights were introduced in the market by Panafric Hotel.
Mooted three years ago, the idea was to create a platform for Kenyans from various communities and of different walks of life, to celebration the nation's rich traditional music, food and culture.
So far, pompous nights like Ingo, (Luhya) Malo Malo(Luo) Kamba, Ribina night (Kisii) Embu-Mbeere, Meru night, Massai, Kalenjin and Coastal nights and the what others dub as "The Mother of All Nights" the annual Grand Cultural Night held at the new year's eve have been hosted.
Cultural Theme Nights (CTN) has helped bring together people from various communities "lost" in the daily urban rush of life to celebrate their culture and heritage.
Apart from offering Kenyans a platform to meet and mingle with others in exchange of business idea and unwind in a less formal environment, Theme Night have also exposed the raw talent of traditional musicians to the glare of the national TV cameras and spotlight of potential promoters thus helping them to raise their status and clinch other entertainment business deals, David Gachuru, Sarova Panafric General Manager says.
