Sarova Panafric Hosts East African Food Festival

Sarova Panafric on September 1, 2006 hosted a Food Festival which displayed East Africa 's rich culinary experience and traditional musical repertoire.
Dubbed East African Food Festival (EAFF) the event offered a lengthy and extensive journey of tastes across Kenya , Uganda and Tanzanian traditional foods.
Sarova Panafric, which is the leader in the now popular cultural theme nights is championing introduction of new regional entertainment and refreshing ideas into the market.
Nancy Imunde , Corporate Communications Manager said “In hosting of EAFF, the hotel seeks to showcase the finery and richness in East African regions cookery and entertainment skills. “The bigger objective is the integration of the East African Community, starting with cultural and culinary exchange”. She said
She added that “a lot of preparations have gone into acquisition of the very best foodstuff from the t hr ee East African countries. Even the finest and acclaimed traditional entertains have been sourced to make the night a revelry to remember,” said Ms. Imunde.
Among the entertainers lined up were: East African Orchestra Band, KU'Pamba Troupe and Kenya 's Kayamba Africa.
