Bush Lunch & Dinner

Partake in the rich culture of the Samburu and Borana as our experienced chefs feed you from exotic mouth watering local dishes against the backdrop of the Shaba wild with the nostalgic view of expansive vistas and the brown colored Ewaso Nyiro River. Local Samburu dancers will delight and enchant you with rhythmic dances that are as old as time.as well as provide you with lectures and lessons of the ancient Samburu culture.
There is a roaring bonfire where guest can sit after dinner and twirl the night away

Cocktails in the wild

Watch the Born Free Country go to sleep as you sample our well blended cocktails right next to the crocodiles. The fear of the ferocious reptiles adds a tinge of taste to the well mixed cocktails. It's the perfect sundowner!
The Cocktails can be extended into dinner at the same exotic venue.

Game Drives

Shaba boasts of a unique collection of game only found in the region including reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's Zebra, Gerenuk, Besia Oryx as well as 150-450 recorded species of bird life against the country abundance of over 1150 species.
This is also home to the amazing world wonder of the lioness that adopted a baby Oryx!
Reminisce about Joy Adamson's life; her only companion Elsa the lioness in this wild Born Free Country.

There are two game drives per day: 0600hrs - 0800hrs, 1600hrs - 1800hrs.
A game drive is USD 50 per person, minimum 2 people.

Massage

Relax and unwind, enjoy a great massage while listening to the trickling natural streams and the wild sounds of the African Jungle. Alternatively, get adventurous and have the massage in the wild.! Massages offered are as follows:

Crocodile Feeding

From the safety of the viewing deck, exhilarate your nerves as you watch and feed the crocodiles at the banks of Ewaso Nyiro. An experience not to be missed!

Camel rides

Take a life time ride as you view the scenic Shaba landscape, on the back of this desert mammal under the guidance of real Samburu Morans. It's a trip down a rugged exciting road with memories so fond you will want to come back!

Sharinki Falls

35 KM in the rugged roads of Shaba takes you to a site to behold; the fall fills the air with a breeze so crispy and fresh! After a long drive, the sight is worth the ride.
