The three possible Locations to chose from (other than the Lodge Grounds) for your ceremony. The 1st location is highly recommended:
Sharinki Springs - 27Km from Lodge
The spectacularly clear water splashes over grey rocks between the doum palms that grow on the steep slopes giving rise to a permanent rainbow. The spring flows and tumbles into a waterfall and at the base, there is a sandy beach surrounded by doum palms and the majestic savannah sounds - rushing water and a symphony of wild bird song.
A ceremony the size of the Samburu Traditional Ceremony will require you to be on the elevated plateau above the falls
Joy Adamson - 22Km from Lodge
World-renowned artist and conservationist Joy Adamson chose this site as a scenic location for her home. It is set amongst doum palms with a spring in the center and has an amazing view of the numerous mountains in their hues of blues and purples.
Mt. Bodich - Survivor Tribal Council Site 27Km from Lodge
Set amongst Acacias in a golden clearing this site was recently used by CBS Survivor Africa for their grand finale. This Location has a wonderful African feel to it: savannah gives way to undulating foothills of various colors which graduate into a magnificent Hollywood backdrop of Mount Bodich. Set in the reserve with the plains surrounding the location there is a good chance you may have wild game milling in the background for you wedding!
