Sarova Stanley Tree Planting
Environment Pillar
Sarova Stanley management and staff participated in the annual tree planting activity at the Nairobi National Park.
This marks the 5th year of partnering with Green line foundation to plant trees, with an average of 100 trees planted and tended to each year.
The tree planting activity is aimed at curbing human encroachment as well as mitigating transport infrastructure disruption such as the Standard Gauge Railway and underground cables.
The tree planting coincided with the death anniversary of the late Nobel laureate Wangari Mathai, there is no other way to tip our hat off to a legend of our time than by doing our little thing, which is, and will continue to be, committing to plant trees in the only National Park in a city.
