Memorable Tales of Sarova Escapades #Diary Note1
My goals this year were very simple; I had to make them realistic after years of accumulated disappointment. The one that seemed to make most sense was, ‘Be on time and keep schedules.’ Sounds simple, even fits perfectly into one tinnie tinny sentence, how hard could that possibly be? I’ve come a long way from being that girl who is usually hours late to ‘fashionably delayed’. There were days where I would be so late; all I could do is carry those big-old sun hats to hide my head in shame (especially during those quiet summer weddings). But those old days are long gone; nowadays I can even afford to be a few hours early for meetings, how excellent is that? So speaking of keeping schedules to avoid last minute hustles, last week was a total game changer for me. My client had suggested that we meet for a business lunch at the ‘big city’ hotel.
At first, I had absolutely no idea what he meant by that. So I asked him for a proper description, only to find out that he was referring to Sarova Panafric, obviously because of its ideal location- like 5minutes outside the town center. It was my first time there, and I remember been smitten from the moment I walked into the reception. Three words…’Out-of-this-world’! There’s something about me and two way prolific mirrors, marble décor, antique paintings and intricate woodwork. Such ART, impeccable class! I must have been an artist in my past life! I was ushered to the lobby to wait for my guest and I stumbled across some travel magazine, neatly placed on the mahogany table. I’m not quite sure about the name…Spotlight, maybe? I picked it up, and inside was an article on Sarova Whitesands. I didn’t have so much time to read the entire piece; I barely got through the first paragraph before my client arrived. But for those few minutes, I inhaled the possibilities and got lost in the hub of a holiday fantasy. What took my breath away was the compelling photograph of one of the sea front rooms. The thoughts became relentless... A spectacular view of the ocean, fascinating beach dining experience and an authentic buffet of seafood delicacies! Fantastic! I would have gone on and on, had it not been that my attention was needed elsewhere.
The meeting ended shortly afterwards and on my way out, I stopped at the reservations desk to enquire, then ended up booking a room, in anticipation for the December holiday. It’s funny how things turn out… You go in for a meeting then come out with a vacation plan! My husband and I are now looking forward to staying at Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort and Spa, we’ll probably check in on Christmas Eve. Perhaps a little extended honey moon getaway! I can’t wait to see how that goes.
