Family is paramount and it is especially a time when everyone is consumed by the spirit of giving. We at Sarova family care and are inevitably wrapped up in the festive spirit. For this reason, here are some tips to help you relish this season at the same time evade the January blues:-
Christmas cheer comes along with plenty of food and drink. Come January, most people gain the total weight lost eleven months prior. Have little meals in spaced out intervals to avoid over indulgence, keep track of what you eat and try to balance out the food categories. Carbohydrates are especially popular this time of the year; try to consume more vegetables and fruits.
Safety is a major concern this season. If you are travelling for your vacation away from home, ensure that all entrances and windows are properly secured. Should you visit a crowded area, keep a keen eye on your children and secure your phones, handbags and wallets.
Christmas is a time to lay back and enjoy a well deserved break. Should you consume alcoholic drinks ensure that you take this in moderation and avoid driving. Overindulgence may lead to mortifying situations and or worse, fatal incidences.
Last but not least, then comes the “clichéd” New Year’s resolutions.
