At Sarova Mara Game Camp, we have the whole family in mind. There is a wide range of activities to suit different children of all age groups ensuring no one is left out in the fun!
A guided Nature walk with a Maasai Moran who will talk of herbs, medicine, folklore and their relationship with the natural world.
Dine on a purpose built wooden deck, overlooking the wilderness of the savannah around it.
Our organic vegetable and herb garden can be visited with our Chefs to select garden to table produce, where a private meal can be prepared in the garden with or without a cooking class.
The Tulia wellness tent offers a full menu of treatments including Swedish, aromatherapy and Ayurveda. Wellness menus can also be availed on request.

A hot air balloon ride is one of the most breathtaking ways to experience the Masai Mara at sunrise. Once back on terra firma, the flight is celebrated with a champagne breakfast in the bush.
A selection of long walks on the nature trails are on offer within the greater Mara area along the periphery of the park. These wildlife trails allow you to soak in the fauna and flora of the terrain.
Sarova Mara Game Camp is located next to "The Isokon Maasai Cultural Village". Guests can interact with the Maasai people and culture and observe them work their crafts, beadwork and wood carving.
Often your safari can include bush walks where you will walk with your ranger and learn about plants and insects, boots are a must for this.

Shaba is very warm. You need shorts and t-shirts or light trousers for the daytime. Neutral tones like beige, khaki, stone and brown work well in the bush.
Shade yourself from the sun. Straps are recommended in case you choose to stand in the van or jeep as it could be blown off.
Often the animals are far away so the binoculars will definitely come in handy. There are amazing birds that you will see on safari and you are going to want to get a closer view.
Always carry insect repellent and sun protection spray or cream.
